Flottentorpedoboot T27 was part of the 4th T-Flottila after being commissioned. Sent to France in August 1943 and mainly used for escorting convoys, blockade breakers and U-Boats in the Gulf of Biscay where it was badly damaged on 29.04.1944 by Canadian destroyer Haida and beached at Ile de Baz. Torpedoed by British MTB 673 on 04.05.1944, capsized and sunk.
