24-25.06.1942:   Together with the Italian destroyer Turbine and the Italian torpedo boats Castelfidardo , F. Crispi and Solferino , ZG3 escorts a convoy of seven transports from Piräus to Crete.

16-18.11.1942:   Together with UJ2101 and UJ2102 , Hermes escorts a tanker and a transport from Piräus to the Dardanelles and a tanker on the return trip. Hermes detects the British submarine Triton which is sunk by UJ2102 .
21-22.11.1942:   Hermes and an Italian torpedo boad transfer to Saloniki.
22-26.11.1942:   Hermes and an Italian torpedo boat escort a convoy of four transports to Iraklon.
26-27.11.1942:   Hermes and an Italian torpedo boat escort atwo transports and the net layer Piräus to Piräus.
