History

The French net layer Gladiateur was one of the ships scuttled at Toulon on 27.11.1942. It was raised by German troops in March 1943 and since January 1944 it was used as antiaircraft corvette SG18 and mine ship for the 6th patrol division. On 04.02.1944 it capsized after an air attack.
