Apr 1917:   Before beeing comissioned, the almost completed ship is rammed by the Helgoland and is slightly damaged.
10.05.1917:   Hindenburg is comissioned.
-20.08.1917:   Training and trials.
06.11.1917:   Attached to the 1st Squadron.
17.11.1917:   Unsuccessful operation in the western part of the North Sea.
23.04.1918:   Unsuccessful raid in the Northern North Sea up to the area of Stavanger.
24.11.1918:   Interned at Scapa Flow.
21.06.1919:   Scuttled by own crew.
22.07.1930:   Wreck raised after several unsuccessful attempts.
1931-1932:   Broken down at Rosyth.
