Troßschiff 1939 - 1960  Dithmarschen  Class

1938/1939:   Supply operations for Kriegsmarine ships during the sea control in the Spanish Civil War.
January 1940:   After several months of repairs and refits, the Dithmarschen enters Kriegsmarine service again.
June 1940:   Supply operation during Operation Juno.
30.11.1940:   Dithmarschen is scheduled for supply operations for Panzerschiff Admiral Scheer , but caused by an engine breakdown the ship has to return to France.
01.01.1941:   The Troßschiff is scheduled for supply operation for battlecruisers Scharnhorst and Gneisneau but runs aground when leaving France.
-October 1941:   Repairs.
March 1943:   Supply operations for Kriegsmarine ships in Norway.
09.05.1945:   Dithmarschen is taken over by British troops in Bremerhaven, renamed to Southmark.
January 1946:   Taken over by US Navy.
02.05.1946:   Enters operational service in the US Navy.
01.10.1946:   Renamed to Conecuh .
April 1956:   Transferred to the reserve fleet.
1960:   Stricken from service, broken down after that.
