History

After the invasion of the Netherlands, a batch of three incomplete gunboats were captured and it was decided to complete all three ships.


K1 was launched on 23.11.1940 and put into service on 02.10.1941. It was sunk on 05.05.1945 after a bomb on the forward part of the ship hit near Aarhus.
