History

The two old Norwegian torpedo boats Trygg and Snogg were both captured after the German invasion of Norway.

Trygg was beached after an air attack on 25.04.1940 at Isfjorden. Recovered by the German troops between May and July 1940, it was put into service again on 01.08.1940 as Zick . Used as a patrol boat, it was renamed several times, on 01.01.1941 to V5503 , on 20.05.1942 to V5501 , on 13.11.1943 to NB20 and on 01.06.1944 to V5506 . On 23.10.1944 it capsized after an air attack in the Hjeltefjord.
