History

After the invasion of Norway, four other old Norwegian torpedo boats that were fallen in German hands were the ones of the 1899 design. Because of their old age, they were only used for secondary duties in the German Navy.

Hvas was captured in the Oslo fjord and taken over in German services as Seestern in May 1940. It was returned to Norway in 1945 and scrapped after 1946.
