History
After the invasion of Norway, four other old Norwegian torpedo boats that were fallen in German hands were the ones of the 1899 design. Because of their old age, they were only used for secondary duties in the German Navy.
Kjaek
was captured in April 1940 while being docked in Tonsberg. Commissioned in the same month as Schildkröte
, the ship survived the war and was returned to Norway in 1945. In 1946-47 it was sold to be scrapped.
