History

The two small old Norwegian torpedo boats Skarv and Kjell were both captured after the German invasion of Norway.


Skarv was captured by the Germans on 09.04.1940 at Egersund nd renamed to M1 . Commissioned on 11.04.1940 as NS 01 , later renamed to NS 28 and Gazelle . Sunk after collision with Norwegian submarine Themis on 27.09.1942 near Lervik at 59°49'N/05°33,5'E.
