History
Also a former fruit transport ship , the Alice Robert
was capturesd on 14.12.1942 in Marseilles. First planned to be used as an auxiliary mine layer, the ship was finally modified into the escort vessel SG11
and commissioned on 01.05.1943. Part of the 3rd escort flotilla, it was sunk by the British submarine Ultor
on 02.06.1944 near Port Vendres.
