History
This class of French Avisos were captured by German troops in November 1942. L'Impétueuse
was scuttled in Toulon and designated as Italian F.R.56
after that. Taken over by German troops in September 1943, the ship - now named SG17
- was badly damaged by during an air attack on 24.11.1943. It was scuttled in Marseilles on 07.08.1944 and scrapped in 1945.
