History
This class of incomplete French Avisos were captured by German troops in November 1942. SG15
was commissioned on 03.10.1943. First used in the 3rd Escort flotilla, it was assigned to the 10th Torpedoboot Flotilla in January 1944. In May of the same year, the ship was reclassified as a submarine hunter UJ 2229
. It was sunk by the British submarine Universal
on 26.05.1944.
