History
This class of French Avisos were captured by German troops in November 1942. La Curieuuse
was scuttled in Toulon on 27.11.1942. First planned to be used by Italy as F.R.55
, the ship was taken over by Germany after the Italian surrender in September 1943. Commissioned as SG16
in May 1944. During the Invasion of France the ship was docked in Marseilles and scuttled on 22.08.1944. It was scrapped in 1945.
