Feb - 14.03.1914:   Fleet exercises in the North Sea.
1914:   Fleet Flagship and part of the 3rd Battleship Squadron at the outbreak of the war.
03.11.1914:   Covers battlecruisers during coastal bombardment of Yarmouth.
16.12.1914:   Covers battlecruisers during coastal bombardment of Scarborough.
05-06.03.1916:   Operations at the Hoofoten.
25.04.1916:   Covers battlecruisers during coastal bombardment of Yarmouth and Lowestoft.
31.05.1916:   Battle of Jutland: Friedrich der Große undamaged.
19.08.1916:   Unsuccessful raid against the British East Coast.
19.10.1916:   Unsuccessful raid to the Doggerbank.
05.11.1916:   Unsuccessful raid against the Danish West Coast.
19.09.1917:   Operations at the Baltic Islands.
23.04.1918:   Unsuccessful raid in the Northern North Sea up to the area of  Stavanger.
24.11.1918:   Interned at Scapa Flow.
21.06.1919:   Scuttled by own crew.
1936-29.04.1937:   Wreck raised and broken down
