Aug 1902:  Training and trials with shipyard crew.
01.10.1902:  Wettin is commissioned.
-Jan 1903:  Training and trials. After that, the ship is attached to the 1st Squadron and takes part in all fleet operations an manouvers in the following years.
Spring 1909:  Wettin is rammed by the Kaiser Karl der Grosse , but only lightly damaged. 
30.06.1911:  Decommissioned.
01.12.1911:  Recommissioned as artillery training ship.
Aug 1914:  After the outbreak of world War I, the Wettin is attached to the 4th Squadron.
03-08.09.1914:  Operations in the eastern Baltic Sea.
22-26.09.1914:  Operations in the eastern Baltic Sea.
Sep 1914 - May 1915:  Patrol duty in the North Sea.
May 1915:  Operation north of Gotland.
May - Jul 1915:  Patrol duty in the North Sea.
-Sep 1915:  Operations in the eastern Baltic Sea.
11.11.1915:  Put into reserve status with reduced crew.
15.05.1916:  All 24 cm guns are removed.
- Aug 1917:  Repairs in Wilhelmshaven.
Aug 1917 - 1919:  Used as floating barrack in Kiel.
01.10.1919-11.02.1920:  Used as floating barrack in Cuxhaven.
11.03.1920:  Used as mine hunter tender / mother ship.
21.11.1921:  Sold for scrap.
1922:   Scrapped in Rönnebeck.
