History

The old Italian torpedo boat Insidioso was captured on 10. 09.1943 in Pola. Renamed to TA21 (Wildfang ), it was recommissioned on 08.11.43 and used for escort duty in the Adriatic Sea as part of the 11th Escort flotilla. Being damaged by an air attack on 09.08.1944, it was decommissioned and sunk on 05.11.1944 after a hit by an air launched torpedo. The wreck was broken down in 1947.
