History
The former Yugoslav destroyer Beograd
was captured by Italian forces in Kotor on 17.04.1941. Renamed to Sebenico
, the ship was taken over by the Kriegsmarine after the Italian surrender in September 1943. The then called TA43
was commissioned on 17.1.1944 and used for escort duty and mine laying operations in the Adrian Sea. On 01.05.1940 the ship was scuttled by its own crew.
