History
The Italian destroyer Antonio Pigafetta
was captured by German troops in Fiume on 10.09.1943. Recommissioned after repairs on 14.10.1944 as TA44
it was part of the 9th Torpedoboot Flotilla and sunk after a bomb hit on 17.02.1945 in the port of Trieste.
