16.12.1916:  Emden II is commissioned.
Dec 1916 - Mar 1917:  Training and trials.
12.03.1917:  Emden II becomes flagship of the leader of the torpedo boat forces.
Apr 1917 - Sep 1917:  Patrol and guard duty in the North Sea.
Sep 1917 - Oct 1917:  Emden II takes part in the operations at the Baltic Islands.
12.09.1917:  Arrival in Libau and escort duties for the transports on route to the Baltic Islands
10-20.11.1917:  Repairs.
11-12.12.1917:  Together with the 2nd torpedo boat flotilla, the Emden II operates off the British east coast, attacking a British convoy. 6 transports and one escorts are sunk during this operation.
10-13.03.1918:  Operations in the Kattegat, Emden II , Graudenz , Frankfurt , Bremse and two torpedo boat flotillas operate against merchant shipping.
23-24.03.1918:  Participation in the unsuccessful fleet operation in the North Sea..
01.06 - 15.07.1918:  Repairs.
24.11.1918:  Send to Scapa Flow.
25.03.1919:  Emden II becomes flagship of the interned fleet at Scapa Flow.
21.06.1919:  Scuttling of the ship fails and the ship is saved by the British.
11.03.1920:  Given to France, but because of the bad conditions of the ship, it is not put in active service again.
1922:  Used for explosive tests.
1926:  Scrapped.
